Todays blog entries are somewhat different as we lost all photos during transfer between camera and PC.
Shawinigan:
a nice and friendly town with lots of water and boats and a nice riverfront.
Trois Rivieres:
ugly (it rained). The riverbeds had interesting wooden construction.
Drive to Ottawa:
aweful. Lots of traffic and rainstorms. Positive was that we found a nice fruits and vegatable shop and a real bakery with decent baguette - the first "non revitalisable bread" in NA.
Ottawa:
We were going downtown and saw the government building, the national gallery, which was closed when we came there, and the Rideau canal. After dining in the "The Earl of Sussex" close to the National Galery we looked for a new bag for Matti in the shopping center.
