Day 12 - Banff via Yoho to Jasper

The best day so far!!
After the breakfast we drove to Field and from there to a wild water-rafting base. At 2pm we started our tour, which was totally exciting and also a little bit cold as the water had only 5 degrees. The tour was finished after one and a half hour, 12 km of white water, 14 rapids and a totally wet body. After we got back to the camp and drank a café and a hot chocolate we went on to Jasper via the Icefield Parkway. More than 200 km of beatifull drive through the mountains. 11km before Jasper we saw two little bears and 3 km after that we met a tribe of caribous on the road. 2 km before Jasper a female Park Ranger was standing with a riffle, watching after a bear sitting in one of the trees. I took quickly some pictures of that bear and then we went on. In the evening we went to a brewery and ate there fantastic burgers.

The day starts in Banff at the famous hotel and rapids
